No More Payday Loans in West Virginia

Monday, May 21st, 2007 (2 comments)
It turns out that West Virginia has kicked out these sleazebag lendors. Now if every other state would follow their example, we’d have something.

  1. Now the state can concentrate on more important issues like education. Spelling would be a good start.

  2. “More important”?

Every company that takes consumers for vast amounts of profit is waging a anti-education campaign that teaches people to use their products and services to the customer’s detriment. If the the state could add classes teaching skills to resist this sort of practice, then maybe, but otherwise, I’d hardly say stopping shady lenders is “less important” than education.
