I have heard of the philosophy of not needing a credit history or credit cards, but never really believed it could work for me until now. This book describes many carefully planted myths about money and money management that hurt normal people and benefit companies.
Dave Ramsey is right, we're never taught this stuff. In fact, we are taught quite the opposite from big businesses that would rather have us in their financial control forever. There are many money decisions that I can clearly see now were mistakes (like keeping my deductible low on insurance).
