Onstar Gives Customers Raspberry

(Image used under: Creative Commons 2.0 [SRC] [Mod] [Comp])

For the switch to digital from analog, Onstar's fantastic customer service tactic is to completely abandon all analog users.

Naturally, there are many people who are up in arms about this (especially the people that fell for Onstar's deceptive ad campaign linking their service to happy endings to extremely unlikely scenarios).

An Onstar representative was quoted .... [Click here to read the rest of this post]

LED Lightbulbs to Rule them All

(Image used under: Creative Commons 4.0 [SRC])

I've been saying this for a while, but LED lightbulbs are finally coming into their own.

Forget the alternatives, this is the real deal. It's brighter, smaller, don't produce heat, use far less electricity, and last much longer than any other kind of lighting. That's why you can have 200 of them in a single cell phone.

Gonzales to Outlaw Attempted Copyright Infringement

(Image is used under the Pixabay license)

I don't have the strength left to argue anymore, but this just seems like a bad idea (read it for yourself). Anyway, after Gonzales spent over a year under presidential directive to come up with a plan to fight ID Theft, but completely failed to endorse the one working solution, Gonzales' lack of competence is clear. And that's .... [Click here to read the rest of this post]
